TEXTILES ASIA JOURNAL

Published three times a year, with textile-related subjects.

This is one of  my favorite magazines. The May 2013 issue had articles on bingata Japanese textiles, on the preservation and restoration of a Buddhist silk and textile weave (kossu) ladri or altar canopy done in situ, in a monastery in Bhutan, and on a collection of some 30,000 textiles in a Japanese cultural institute for fashion. Many great photos accompany each article.

    Dear Elisabeth,
I was trolling around on-line today and stumbled on you very flattering remarks about Textiles Asia. Thank you! I am so glad you enjoy it. I am curious though where you see it, have you subscribed under another name? I have 2 subscribers in Austin. Are you possibly related to Jacqueline Wein who had a blog Tokyo Ninja?
    Best regards, Bonnie
